Can anyone help me with what should be the correct outside handles for this truck. I know what the hand grab part looks like, but the inside length is what is confusing. I have seen several sizes ranging from the short portion being 1-1/4" to 2-1/2" and the small square shank from 3/8" to 1" long. Did this truck have a locking door handle on it? I know the '38 had a lock only on the passenger side. Thoughts appreciated. Tom

All I am interested in is what it takes to open these doors. I don't know what size I am needing. When I bought the truck it had no door handles. Might be able to figure it out if someone could shoot me some dimensions of what this truck should of had. Tom

Perhaps you should check the gallery. I know you can't get the dimensions but perhaps you can contact someone with a 35 and will give you some measurements. Not everyone will check all the forums so perhaps a PM would work?
Just a thought.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
