I have split the original manifold for duel exhausts. I am considering purchasing 2 x 1 intake. Will the 2 x 1 intake manifold fit with the old exhaust manifold?

I think the offy will. However, it is an aluminum intake and will carbonize eventually from the exhaust heat. Some say that it is better to heat an aluminum intake with water. A vintage cast iron intake like the old edelrock or tattersfield will mate right up with your old exhaust mainifold. The old edmunds will not and is already set up to be water heated.

The heat riser flange angle won't be right to match up to the exhaust and will need to be milled. If too much material is already gone, a thin spacer will need to be made to take up the gap.
The idea is to get the intake and exhaust manifolds bolted together tight (with a gasket in between), and still have the (3) alignment rings on the intake ports line up and the studs on the ends of the ends of the exhaust manifold line up. Easier said than done sometimes.
