Some good, some bad and some ugly. Other than some holes in the running boards there is no rust through on the truck. It is going to be a big project though. I found from the VIN the truck is actually a 1945. www.1942chevy.blogspot.com

I got a question. Is the weld visable at the bottom of the a-piller where it joins the cowl? 'Cause that's how my '45 is. I thought that perhaps a repair had been done, but the other side is the same and when I removed the interior trim, I could see that it came from the factory that way.
