Never seen repops in steel, why not go with fiberglass until you find some? Yes I understand that everyone fixing a 41-46 would love to see new steel reproduced but the numbers just aren't there for a company to produce tools and dies to stamp them.

I sold a pretty beat up right rear steel to a guy in southern MN last fall. He drove 150 miles to pick it up and told me it was the only right rear steel he had seen that was "repairable", let alone perfect. The one that came with my truck had some pretty nasty tears and dents. I spent a lot of time with the hammer getting it to look just OK. But the cost of making a new steel one would be high.
If you have any, don't be afraid to work on them. It is pretty amazing what you can do with these old fenders if you are prepared to put in the time. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 1,780 Master Gabster | | Master Gabster Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 1,780 | Check out the swap meet forum.

If you really want a good one that does not need a lot of work plan to pay upwards of $500 or even more. I searched for over 5 years for a set of good steal rear fenders and ended up paying a ton to get them.
Good luck.
