Thought I'd try to pull all my spare parts together. There is a 65 GMC short wheelbase frame (with leafs), a stepside bed, and a spare front clip with a 62 Chevy grill. I have my choice of 6 and V-8 power plants, dunno which I'll use yet, but I am going with a Saginaw 3 speed with 3 on the tree. The cab I bought from the original family. Looking good Jon, definitely a Kodak moment.  I never knew that a cab would fit in the bed of a pick-up. I am guessing that you loaded it with a tractor and front end loader, but how did you get it out, engine hoist? John

I did pull the doors to make it easier to lift from the 62 frame (rusted out) to my 66 bed. We set it on some tires to get it to fit in the bed since the steering column was still attached. Getting it out of the truck just took me, my 16 year old son and a cherry picker after I took the seat out. The cab is on casters now in the garage. My chain hoist can get it on my 65 GMC frame after rust repairs are finished.
