| | | | Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 19 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 19 | I'm finally able to fill a dream of mine. that is to rebuild a old truck. my son-in-law has a 47 and we are starting to do it. has been sittin for over 20 yrs and it will take a lot of tlc. we have the bed off and the eng. and tranny out. frist question we have is, are the side rails welded on and do they have to be welded back on. we are goin to make it a daily driver not a show truck. just something that looks good. thanks for havin me as a member and hope to help others with wirein problems as i was a very good electrical man on vechials. again tks tom
