I haven't any experience of the kbs coatings, but if you type into the search section of the forum, you will find many, many discussions on the subject of POR-15.

I personally have used POR products throughout my 'build' and have been more than happy with the results!

One thing to bear in mind though, POR-15 is U.V. sensitive.
Not so much a problem here in Scotland, but in sunny Ca.??? grin
It can be overcoated with their Chassis paint though.

Happy searching.

I used the POR15 on the back side of my hood and fenders man it is tough stuff!..and looks good.
From everything ive read as long as POR15 isnt gonna be seein direct sunlight it is onna the best products out there for the underside.

air chevy,
Mine hasn't seen the road yet, I've a way to go.
As Tim says POR-15 is as tough as old boots!
I've no doubt it's more than up to anything I can throw at it.
There's no reason why my old 'bolt won't survive another 60 years!
Check out my Flickr link and see how it looks, i've painted the chassis, engine, headers and the inside of my cab (the parts that wont be painted body colour) and I plan to paint the underside of my fenders too.
The engine and header paint also came from POR.

You may have guessed by now, I quite like the stuff! grin

Don't want to put down POR 15, but you might want to take a look at Rust bullet or Master Series just for something to compare with. I haven't had any experience with the KBS but have read their literature and it sounds just about like several others.

Haven't used KBS either so I can't testify to it....but I sure love the POR15. That is some Tough, Hard and nice looking stuff. I used it on my chassis and several other places. Be sure to do a search on read up on it. Its tough but can be rough on the lungs if you don't take precautions..use your worst clothes and don't dare get it on you skin smile It has to wear off!!
