I hear of people using the t-5 from s-10 and blazers in line- engines i am curious to see wheather it would be compatible with the 305 v6. By the way i have 4.56 posi rear with the 3 speed tree shifter. Thanks for the help guys

Sounds like you like to go slow and tow a lot w/ the 4.56:1 The OD in the T5 would help speed things up for ya. Can't help ya w/ the V6 but it should bolt up to any chevy bell housing.

it will be compatible for a while.the 305 V6 makes a lot more torque than engine offered in an s-10

get a t-5 out of a camaro, the camaro used them. the only problem is where the gearshift is located, on the camaro tailshaft to far back. ron
