However why change from TBI to carb? The driveability alone would make one want to keep it.

Is this true? I am using parts off an S 10 pickup for the steering rearend etc. Would the tank be needed also. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 1,859 Grumpy old guy playing with trucks, cars, and boats | | Grumpy old guy playing with trucks, cars, and boats Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 1,859 | the TBI motor needs 15 psi (1 Bar). There are external fuel pumps on the market for cheep. Holley makes them for their Pro-Jection line. Carter makes them as well. You will also need a return line to the tank which is not a big deal. I added a larger supply and a return to my '48 tank when I had it out. You could also simply make a mini sump with the in-line tank from the S-10. I also highly recommend Stealth Conversions for information and parts. http://jagsthatrun.com/here is another link that you may find usefull http://www.automedia.com/TBI_Fuel_Injection_Conversion/pht20001001fi/1
