I have fell in love with these ole trucks and got the sickness real bad. I have a 1957 that I drive and recently picked up a 50 and 53 that need restoring. I am new (about a year) to the ole trucks but have owned a 61 Buick Lesabre Convertible for about 5 years. I have been on the site numerous times and have enjoyed reading the articles and seeing all the truck pics and stories. Here is a link to some pics of my truck. Sounds like you need a few more projects so just call me up Like Lucille says, what part of S.C. do you hail from. You know that you are now one of the Southern Stovebolters and by that you have to attend out "Mini Stovebolt Reunion". Its in Spartanburg end of May. You'll be hearing more about it later but plan now to attend with the other stovebolters. Lucille, a few minutes ago I chatted with another stovebolter that lives not more than 4-5 miles from me. Hankdogg, just joined up not long ago. Has a 51pickup. Oleskool: if I can be of any help to you just let me know. Edit:...and one nice looking pickup.

When I pulled the other 2 trucks out of barns I was like a kid getting new toys.
