I believe that these units are all 4 bolt, but are the Dia.
and ring gear the same?

I solved my own problem! The flywheels are all the same Dia.
The flat surface is different. The 37 is sort of dished and the 38-39 is flat. A modern clutch, 38,39,40 assembly will not fit on the 37 flywheel.
