I am working on a stock 235 w/std 3 speed.

Does anyone know the torq values for the 6 mounting bolts attaching the pressure plate assembly to the flywheel?

Also the Chevy Shop manual lists a torq of 70-75 ft lbs for the 5 speed trans to bell housing bolts but nothing for the 3 or 4 speeds. Does anyone know what the torq should be for the 3 speed mounting bolts?

thanks,

Bob

JD,
back in the day of rollin in the dirt wrenchin, for a pressure pate I went with tighter than heck an 2 more turns !..lol.. never had one get loose ..but Im sure someone will chime in with what the service manual says is correct.
for the trans i would guess the same tourqe value for the 5 speed would be just fine for the 3 speed 75lbs sounds bought rite.
