| | | | Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 154 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 154 | Hy all. I 1998 S10 ZR/2 as a daily driver and the serpentine belt squeels when you first start it up. I have changed the belt twice, the crank pulley,water pump and pulley,Idler,and belt tensioner also had a new air conditioner compressor installed. The only pulleys that haven't been changed are the altenator and power steering pulleys. Sometimes the belt stops squeeling when it gets good and warm, but then it starts all over when the engine cools off.Has anybody got any ideas that I could try to stop the squeeling? It still didn't stop.
