Hy all. I 1998 S10 ZR/2 as a daily driver and the serpentine belt squeels when you first start it up. I have changed the belt twice, the crank pulley,water pump and pulley,Idler,and belt tensioner also had a new air conditioner compressor installed. The only pulleys that haven't been changed are the altenator and power steering pulleys. Sometimes the belt stops squeeling when it gets good and warm, but then it starts all over when the engine cools off.Has anybody got any ideas that I could try to stop the squeeling? I know the truck is kind of new for this sight, but just I thought would ask. thanks Eric

One of the belts that i tried was a GM OEM belt . It still didn't stop. Sorry it's a 4.3 V6.

had the same problem on a 99 tahoe, 5.7 and i cleaned all the pulleys with a small wire brush, squeel went away..
