Can you weld up asteel oil spans? Concerns may be is the pinhole from damage or corrosion? If corrosion you may have more than just a pinhole once you strike an arc on it. One sure fire way to make a repair is make a small patch and weld over the hole. This should get you to good metal and prevent further opening of the already damaged area. If you have rusted thin metal, you will know it because you will do nothing but burn the hole bigger. But at least then you know you are working with junk. I use diesel to test something like that. It finds smaller holes, and leaves a trail easier to find than water.

Do you know how hard it is to find a 292 oil pan ? I watched EvilBay for 6 months before snagging one. Now if I could only find a PS set-up. | | |
