I believe that is a deluxe heater with separate motor for the defroster. | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 159 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 159 | Just fair warning. The round heater cores in these are tough to come by and very expensive to get fixed. So most people are using the heaters with the square heater core that were either universal or came in later years. | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,048 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,048 | Here is mine Heater It’s not original but it works. leonard Hey Leonard, Not sure about everyone else's, but my old Arvin is just a radiator with an electric fan. Engine coolant is circulated through the "radiator" part, and the fan blows air over the coils, warming the air. Just like today's heaters! Bluedawg

I was told it was stock, but not sure. It has the defroster sitting on the top of it. Color is not factory. I rebuilt and finished it myself. Defroster and heater have a separate switch. My 41 also has one just like that, only with brown wrinkle paint. Is it really not stock? It fits just like stock and it says Chevrolet on it. Perhaps it was a style just used for replacement? | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 176 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 176 | The heater in the picture only has 2 front doors; mine has three. | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 63 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 63 | Heaters were not factory installed so they were a dealer option. There is no wrong heater | | |
