The oil appears to be coming from the fill pipe or the downshift cable. I was told tha torque converter is leaking, overfilling the pan. Is the solution a new torque converter or a better seal at the fill pipe or cable? My trans has o-rings for seals at the pipe and cable. I have seen 350 trans with a boot for a seal at the fill pipe. Shuold I have a boot?

It shouldn't leak though. Replace the seals around the fill tube & cable should fix it. Some models use an O=ring & some use the boot type seal.
