Gents,

I'm still troubleshooting my 235 problems... it seems to be idleing fine now, and even accelerating OK, but it will still run rough/ stall on acceleration or when I dump the accelerator. Even after running for 30 min to do valve tappets, it still hasn't warmed up to even 160 deg on my new SW water temp gauge. I'm wondering if I'm running too cool and maybe getting condensation of gas? Your tips have been very helpful so far, thanks a bunch guys!

Regards,
Tyler

Sounds like your thermostat is stuck open, for one. If you have the rochester carb it also sounds like the accelerator pump isn't working right.
