hello guys.

since hurricane ike looked to stay south of us here in south florida, i had time to start the fabrication of my gas tank shelf.

here are some pics and descriptions..

once i get the seat back from the upholstery shop, hopefully next saturday, i can finish the shelf and line it with some sort of fabric to keep things from sliding around when driving.

also got around to installing my new radio in the glove box...

i still have to fabricate some speaker boxes for the cab corners beside the seat ends, but it is coming along..

any questions, feel free to ask.

Once again Leonard, Nice Job!
Storage in these cabs can be a problem, but with a little thought
and clever fabrication anything can be achieved! thumbs_up

I look forward to seeing the finished product.
It's been good fun watching your truck 'evolve' over the past few months.

Good news, you folks seem to have'missed' a visit from Ike!
Jock.

Hi Leonard, I took the 'Bags' out temporarily while the exhaust was being fabbed. These welding sparks 'take no prisoners!'
I am hoping to place the cab back on soon and I will post some more pics!
If you ever come to "Jockland" bring some of your Florida sunshine! grin http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/morar/morar/index.html
This is a 'wee' place Mrs Jockbolter and I like to visit. Actually the Western Isles has had a reasonable summer this year.
Scotland wouldn't look like it does if we had 80/90 degree summers all the time. Guess we'll just have to put up with the "liquid sunshine" wink
Thanks for the encouragement!

Very nice work, Leonard, and great idea! Thanks for sharing. Hurricane Ike kicking up over this way. Saying prayers for the Texans right now. We'll get Ike's diluted tropical storm winds and rain here in north Louisiana tomorrow.
