I am looking for a few brake parts for a 54 Chevy 4500 (1 1/2 ton). I had the front shoes relined, new bearings, but cannot find the following:

New springs, adjusters, etc. for the front brakes. 1 ton or smaller are easy to find, but the big bolts are hard. I tried Jim Carters, but they don't seem to have them.

Thanks!

I have several larger GMC's and I have had good luck finding stuff for them on Ebay. Not many people looking for that stuff and sellers usually don't know what they have.

Other than the shoes, I got all my brake parts from NAPA for my '49 4400.

Regards,
John

My CarQuest store had a lot of those parts on the shelf, and what they didn't have they got over night. I always check the local parts places first for mechanical parts,
