Is this correct? Virg | | | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 435 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 435 | Tons of stuff on this swap in the search forums. Your best bet would be the stuff from a 71-72 model. Nearly a drop in deal(a few bolt holes need enlarged)and parts are very easy to come by without buying the more expensive kits from the aftermarket vendors. You might even get lucky and find everything you need in one fell swoop at the local salvage yard, from one donor truck. Good luck and enjoy the better brakes, steering, and all. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 1,026 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 1,026 | Actually, you can use up to an '87 model. I used a '79 model on mine. Here are a links that I posted but there's alot of info on this site on the subject. Also check out these two links: Link 1Link 2Good luck.

"front end stuff (brakes and stuff)" won't bolt up to a straight axle. What Tramp and Mobileortho are referring to is the entire suspension swap.
