I have the idea you want to adjust the pushrod so that when the brake pedal is sitting at is resting position in the truck the pushrod is just barely pulling back against the m/c. Correct?
Any tips or advice on adjustment would be greatly appreciated. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | In correct. You want just a tiny bit of free play from the resting place till it starts pushing the master cyl. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. There should be a hefty return spring for just the pedal. The master cylinder piston has its own small spring to shove it back but it's not intended to affect the big heavy pedal.
