The truck is stock, 16" 6 bolt rims. Didn't need a booster never will | | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 4,095 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 4,095 | i had a power brakes unit put on my 54/3100 last summer and it was well worth it. it is a bolt in unit from brotherstrucks.com. i had it installed by a shop because in my case i had to have the floor shift moved and i can't weld. the brakes are a little touchy lke 70s camaros but work fine when you get familiar with them. i would recommend a separate proportioning valve, they said it was not needed but i think the touchyness would go away with it, will be done in the spring.hope this helps. ron
