You couldn't ask for it to crank any better when it is cool but after it gets hot it turns over very slowly. After it cools off some it cranks perfectly.New 750amp battery,generator shows charging,new cables,timing is right on the mark.Engine was completely rebuilt and runs good as was the starter. I had the same problem from these cables, (they are not heavy enough) I changed to #2 cables and everything is fine. I didn't run a cable from the battery to the engine, I changed the cables from the battery to frame and frame to engine to #2. I did run a jumper cable from battery to engine after engine was hot and this told me what the problem was. | | |
