| | | Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 172 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 172 | so i was driving today and heard a weird hissing noise from under the hood and lifted it up and found that the rubber hose that runs off the front of the left side of the brake booster over towards the back of the engine was broken right where it meets the front of the booster. i found it by sticking my finger over it and i heard the hissing stop. my question is, where can i get a new one of these hoses? i would take a picture but im about to leave to go somewhere i hope my description was good enough. i looked through the LMC truck catalog i have here and all they had was the actual booster but not that hose, or i missed it if they did have it. anyway, i would greatly appreciate any help. thanks.

I use 3/8 vacuum hose that the parts store can cut to length for you or some have it in a package long enough for most applications.

his check valve broke at the joint where the rubber hose hooks on the valve.
so he needs a replacement.
