The hood is over lapping the fenders. If I shim the fenders out from the core support to close the hood then the fenders are to far apart for the grille.Can anyone help? Is there a secret to adjusting the hood ?Anyone PLEASE this truck is about to send me over the edge.

Without being there to see the problem my guess is you'll need to section the hood to narrow it which is a LOT of work. The preferred alternative would be to return the ill fitting fenders and locate used OEM fenders which should fit much better.

At the factory they just picked whatever panels fit best from a pile and left it alone. There is a lot of variability, especially in the doors and cab.
