I got a sales bulletin from Brothers Truck today and the have listed in there "new products" section a 1947-1954 water pump conversion kit. It's for converting your 216 to a 235 full pressure. Also of notable interest, they show a listing for power steering conversion components for 47-66 trucks with a picture of the mounting brackets. I heard mounting the pump to an inline took a bunch of engineering, this could be the fix. Hope this helps someone,
