Worth. They advertise in Hemmings and claim to specialize in the vintage Hydros. Would appreciate comments from anyone who has dealt with them. Mine is in desperate need of rebuilding. | | | | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 1,285 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 1,285 | I don't know about Coffey but I took mine to local trans shop where owner is old enough to have worked on them when they were new. Good Luck. | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 71 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2001 Posts: 71 | Trouble is most of those guys are either semi-retired or semi-dead. One I called in Phoenix only comes in a couple of days a week, which does not sound promising for a quick turnaround. One I called in Tucson quoted $2000-3000. Seems a bit high, almost like he'd rather not bother with the job at all. | | |
