As you can see, I'm still working on the wiring. Converting to 12 volts and HEI. I've also made some progress on the cab. The rest of the body is still at the paint shop. Sorry for the delayed answer ... been out of pocket. The pistons are Federal Mogul 92 P030.
The block was bored .030. The cam is a Howards
F290. All rotating parts were balanced and the "848" head was ported slightly. The engine work was done by an old friend who has been running NHRA Super Stock for 30+ years.

I am a very happy camper! Now I can't wait to get the rest of the body parts so I can put this dude on the road.
Thanks to everyone for all the wiring and engine tips over the last year. I had no wiring issues and the gauges worked perfect. The engine was absolutely without any vibration, and zero leaks.
And those Smithys sound super.
I am a lucky guy.
