The top of the seat back hooks into slots on the rear wall of the cab.. The bottom of the seat back has two metal brackets extending down but whwre do they go? I read somewhere that the seat was adjustable. How does that work? I've looked at lots of pictures but never saw one of behind the seat. What's back there?

The seat bottom has two pins in front that drops into the front of the base. I have read the same thing and also wondered what they considered adjustable back then. To John's point, I also fail to see how it is adjustable.

| | | | | Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 784 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 784 | I don't have the orig. seat anymore, but when I did the two mounting brackets that bolted to the seat riser had two sets of holes for the pins that steppenwood mentioned. They were only about 1" apart (front to back) That's the only adjustment there is. Not very usefull.

And I'll be damned if it ain't adjustable! You learn something new every day. Pin sticking down from the front of the seat frame enters one of 3 holes in the slide guide bolted to the gas tank frame. The seat bottom has two slots at the back that engage the tabs on the bottom of the seat back.
