Hello Stovebolters,
First off I just want to say that Stovebolt has always been an outstanding source for truck info for me... my top go to site. I love how its grown through the years, keep up the great work! thumbs_up

While I'm on the soapbox for this brief moment, I'd like to announce that starting a few months ago (not to toot my own horn) I began running the Napco Owner's Group and I'd like to invite you all to come check out our newly redesigned site at http://www.napco4x4.org and we'd sure love for any of you Napco 4x4 owners to share some pics of your rigs in our Gallery Section. If you guys have any suggestions or info that you would like to share about Napco trucks, please drop us an email. So come check it out if you like, ok I'm off the soapbox now... thanks in advance and I hope you enjoy.

Be safe,
Pee-Wee.

Pee-Wee,

Good site! Your '58 caught my eye, because I have a '64 K10 'Burb that appears to be painted the same color(s). Mine was repainted before I got it.

Yesterday, I was in a local body shop trying to figure out a paint code for touchup paint. Small nicks. Is your paint an original color? If so, do you have the paint code?

Thanks,
Bill C.

Thanks for the kind words Bill. Yes I've painted the 58 GMC burb using the correct original GMC colors... or as close to it as possible. Check these links below, thanks again.

Hope I've helped,

Hey Pee-Wee,
Do you accept us Marmon-Herrington guys too, or just NAPCO?

Hmmm Mr. Scot,
It appears you Marmon-Herrington guys don't have anyone to turn to just like us when we started out. But to be honest we just simply do not have any info for you guys. So I'm sorry but I have to say no as there is nothing that we can really offer.

I do however suggest you Marmon-Herrington owners should band together as we have done and form your own Marmon-Herrington group. You can email me directly at [email protected] for any help/tips to get you started with your own group if that interests you.

Please email me anytime,
Pee-Wee.

Hello Mr. Scott,
I've been thinking maybe it would be pretty neat to compare our two 4x4 systems via our new Napco forum and who knows... we may learn that we do have some things in common?? So yeah I invite you to our new 3 week old Napco forum at http://napco4x4.freeforums.org/ there might be a chance that we can help you find a certain part or at least maybe know of a source that can lead you in the right direction.

So come check it out and that goes for any of you other truck lovers too. We have 1940s to the 70s Fords, Studebakers, GMCs, & Chevy truck members that discuss pretty much everything on our trucks not just the 4x4 system... I'm sure we can all get along.

I've posted some cool old 40s/50s chevy truck promos at our forum that I'm sure you guys would get a kick out of seeing.

Hope to see you all there,
Pee-Wee.

Thanks PeeWee,
I'll do that. Unfortunately, I'm not any kind of expert on either system yet, I just aquired my two Marmon trucks. Actually, one isn't even home yet due to the soggy ground it's setting on. I'll contact you over at the 4X4 site,
Scott
