For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 48 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 48 | Does anybody know where we can find a carrier bearing bushing? It's for a '48 gmc fc303 1 1/2 ton truck. We found it in the catalogue at Jim Carter Classics, but they're apparently out of stock.

If so youll have to look for one on ebay, etc. They no longer make that part and thats why Jim Carter doesnt carry it, along with the other vendors. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 48 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 48 | that's the part. yikes! is there any backup plan for that, if people can't find the bushing?
What years will work, if I find it on ebay or someplace like that? Did they use the bushing for a while?

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | |
