Year 41 -42? Max GVW 27,500 Max GVW combined 40,000. Big 6 everything was on the opposite side of where one normally sees it. The tranny was enormous as big as a normal 6 cylinder engine. What size engine is in this truck? What type of transmission is being used? Just using engine horsepower as an identifier, I would guess it is a 360 c.i.d., that engine was used in the AC 700 series. I love those AC models. I either want my next truck to be an AC model or cannonball with a 6-71... Oohhh yeaahhh! Now youve got me drooling on the key board. And by the way, why dont I see pics????
The A indicates 39 and up. The C indicates conventional cab. R indicates Tractor. My book only shows R and W as being the fourth letter, so Im not completly sure what it is. Being that its a Tractor model, its a 520 series or bigger with a 308 6 cyl and a Clark transmission as being the stock drivetrain.

Sorry I didn't take pictures. I think the fellow is going to lay the balance of this beast to rest. The Chinese have a strong taste for scrap metal. Sad. It was one big heavy truck.
