so instead of spending 60 dollars at napa to buy a turning signal unit, i took one off an old 49 gmc 2ton. i was wondering if anyone knows of a place on the internet that has universal diagrams for hooking up these aftermarket turning signal units. the thing has a total of 8 wires coming out of it, so it gets confusing.

any sourses would be appreciated. murdoc

Maybe the guys at your locaL parts store will let you make a copy of the instruction sheet from a new kit....worth a try....usually five wire kits are for seperate turn light on the rear while seven or eight wire is for stop/turn combination .... smile smile

If all the cylinders ain't in a line it ain't cuttin it..
