The large chain parts stores don't carry them. I got a kit, from a company out of florida, & I can't remember where the other one came from, but I was very disappointed in them. The Original Carter Repair Kits, are what you want. They show up on ebay, from time, to time. Also a good maintenence manual for your year should have a pretty good explanantion of how they work and go together.

The original Carter kits consist of the gaskets, stepup piston, main metering screw, all springs, pump valve,check valve assembly, venttube, accel. pump, etc. Everything, except, the float assembly.
