I need one for a 39 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup.
Is there another I can use?

I get a list of everything in the 1930s for chevrolet. I get hits on a lot of stuff that doesn't apply but it really doesn't take long to weed it out. There are a lot of parts that are good for multiple years and a lot that are mis-labled that I catch that way. I see lots of glovebox cylinders for different years. Whether they'll work on your truck or not I don't have a cross reference to say but I'd be surprised if a 38 or 40 wouldn't work. Most all have pics. If I see one specifically for a 39 I'll let you know.

Try ( 193* chev* ) this covers all the 30's and chevrolet, chevy, and any miss spellings of chevrolet. Also tried a later years 40's and while I could make it fit, it would take some mods, so thats out.

I tried your ebay search and behold, a 39 non-locking button for a 39 glovebox. Youre a plethora of into. Thanks for all the help
