I need advice and help agian on probable factory colors under the hood on 1954 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 tons. I'm pretty sure firewall is body color, but what about inner fenders, under hood,
hood latch plate, etc. Any and all help is greatl;y appreciated. Also if anyone has photos of the pin stripe around beltline, height above groove, width, etc., as well as wheel stripes and locations, would be appreciated also.
Body color will be Mariner Blue with Pearl Beige Interior. While I'm at it, is there a big difference in Pearl Beige and the Cream Stripe for the beltline?

Bruce has nicely described the under-hood colors.

However, I think that a belt-line pinstripe was available for all Advance Design trucks. Here are the exterior color and pinstripe combinations for 1954 Chevrolet trucks. This topic was recently discussed/argued in a recent post/thread.

Pearl Beige interior color and Cream Medium stripe colors are noticeably different. The Pearl Beige is lighter than the Cream Medium (there is a "buttery-cream" appearance to Cream Medium).

I have never seen paint chips for Pearl Beige but Cream Medium is shown on this Dupont paint sheet.. Note that the paint sheet colors are not very "true" due to 50+ years of aging, and distortion from scanning, screen-display, and web-colors.

My 54 also has black underside of hood with the described light overspray but also written in a black grease pencil in a script handwriting is the word "transport" which I assume matches up to the transport blue exterior color of my truck.
