Hey Joe,
From my experience you will find the firewall is body color, inner fenders and a lot of engine components are a black but not gloss or flat, it's a low sheen semi flat (Eastwood sells what they call "Underhood Black"). Under side of the hood is also that same black and to be really correct there will be overspray of the body color. The hood latch plate is cad plated, if your talking the big panel which holds the hood latch plate, it is that same black as the inner fenders. I don't believe the '54's had the beltline pinstripe, only wheel stripes.
