I was wondering if any one knows the size of new king pins? I have a 1946 1 1/2 ton. I have to replace the king pins but don't know if I have STD or .010 over or maybe bigger. I can order new ones after I find out. For you '46 1 1/2 ton I came up with a pin 6 3/4" X 1 1/8"...don't know if it's correct or not.
I'm not sure on this either, but all the rod ends should be the old style multi-piece adjustable type. Any slop can be adjusted out by adjusting the big plug on the end of the rod...the only caveat would be if the ball was worn square and that would require a replacement.
