also do I just fill it up or?

Very sticky, but cleans up quick with kerosene.
Just fill to cover moving parts. Don't overfill - it could be forced up steering column.

Put in hot water or leave ina sunny window to warm it.

I just drove to 3 stores and not one of them had one of those squeeze catsup or mustard bottles! all I could find was one of those small hair dye squeeze bottle things. LOL I made a mess but I finally got some in there.
