Thanks Red58. The link to posting pictures is just the right place to go. Armarshr, here is directions that I have used to help Stovebolters in the past. See if this helps after reading the "drill for linking pictures" that red58 sent you. .........................................................................................................................................
After taking your pictures, you have to down load the images to a
host. That would be Webshots, VillagePhoto, or any other hosting that
you might already have. Once you get them downloaded, they will show
you a HTTP. If should end with a jpg. Here is an example
You will have something like this:
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-1/95040/workingtruck.jpgNow to make a link, you will have to put in front of your
http , then put this at the very end.
You should have something like this
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-1/95040/workingtruck.jpgDo not skip any spaces. That long [url thing is what will tell the
computer where your image is and by clicking on "My truck" , it will
take the viewers right to it. We want only links as posting pictures
in your post will take up too much room and some slow computers will
freeze up. I hope this has helped and please practice in your post.
After writing you post , click on 'Preview Post. If you see something
like "MY TRUCK" or what ever you titled the picture, it should show
up, Click on it and it should show the picture of your truck at the
web site you hosted it in the first place. Try it. If it doesn't
work, look very close as just one little thing can make it not work.
It must be exact. Good luck.
