I have just purchased a 1966 c-20 crew cab. This truck has power brakes power steering and 3speed auto (400 hydro matic). I am not sure if this was an option in 66 our not (3 speed auto). Any info would be nice. Thanks for your time.

Not sure about 66, but my 67 has a 3 speed hydro matic. How about some pics of your truck, crew cabs are a pretty rare find, yes I'm drooling LOL.

Power steering, power brakes were an option for a few years, but 66 was the first year for the 3-speed auto tranmission. RJ

That is gonna be a great looking truck! I really like the look of the crew cabs in that body style. It makes my shortbox 61 look like a soap box racer...anyways good find man.

There are many very rare options available in 1966, including:
cruise control
dash-mounted electric clock (top of dash above radio)
cab lights
hazard flasher switch
3-speed automatic transmission

I took this information from a publication called 1966 Custom Feature Accessories.
