Does the code for the 5spd happen to be Clark 5DD on the ID plate attached to the glove box?

Stamped to the right of this plate will be, Trans. Make: Clark, Type: 205V, or 207V, Speed 5DD. If it's a overdrive, it may say, Type: 207VO, Speed: 5OD. Got any pictures of your trucks posted anywhere.

But a 5 spd might be a step up from just the 4. I'll have to look again for the 205 or 207 designation. What's the diff between them anyway?
No, I haven't gotten any pictures yet. I had some developed and placed on a CD rom. Would I be able use those to post somewhere?

The 202, 205, & 207 differed in design, & gear arrangement. You can transfer your pictures, from your computer, to a webshots, or photobucket album. www.webshots.com , & www.photobucket.com .

That is if we don't get any more wind tearing roofs off I have to go patch. Sweeping snow off a 9 in 12 pitch roof and still having to wear spikes is not what I had envisioned doing when I grew up!

I never drove this truck, I'd traded a 22magnum rifle for it, but never got time to get it running. Young and dumb I suppose, I let it go for cheap. | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,877 . | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,877 | I was looking for something else and found this Roadranger site that has lots of info on the Clark transmissions. I know nothing more about it.. http://www.roadranger.com/ecm/groups/public/@pub/@roadranger/documents/content/rr_apmt-0069.pdf
