My 53 GMC doesn't have the correct wheel lug bolts in the front hubs. They are very long and fit loose in the hub. Does anyone know what part # I should be looking for ?

Sorry... Its a 53 GMC 9300. The PO used very long bolts and they don't seem to fit tight. He also had a spacer cut from what looks to be about 3/4" plate steel behind the rim. I want ot get rid of all that BS.

I don't recall which US model the Canadian 9300 is the same as. Is this a 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, bigger?

On a 1/2-ton the lugs are 7/16-20 I think.

I have had good luck at the auto parts store like NAPA finding both a listing for the bolts/studs by application, and then actually having them available too.

Thanks

The 9300 is the same as a 3100. It's a 1/2 ton.
I found a listing for them in the LMC book, $2.95 each

I'd check your local parts store. You can probably get them across the counter for far less money. You'll just need to take the hub apart so you can determine the correct length to request.
