I don't want to change the truck over to 12 volts. Question is, has anyone tried those 6-12 volt power boosters? If so do they work ok for you radio? I can't find a thing when I do a search.

They worked good for just that,,running a radio,etc. Something that doesnt draw a lot.

All that I found were low amp boosters intended for radios and the like.
