First time I have ever seen a 5x2 Intake

Not that I can afford it, but what carbs went on this type of intake?

Holley/Ford 94's, Holley AA-1's, or Stromberg 97's fit that bolt pattern. The AA-1 was stock on the GMC 302 for a few years, the others were found on flatties. Most people either run 2 or 3 carbs and block off the other holes, all 5 is way too much carburation for a 235 unless it can run at 10,000 rpm.

If you want to run all 5 it has to be strombergs as there isn't enough space for 5 holleys.

That is a wicked looking manifold with the fins. The howard log I have for my 302 doesn't have those fins... maybe a chevy/ gmc thing.

Never seen one of them except in pictures. I think the old Patrick's catalog has a picture of one with 5 Strombergs on a Jimmy. What's pictured on eBay isn't all of it. Right? You still need three curved "runners" back to the head. Cool looking thing, though.

Check out this page. Scroll all the way down to the bottom for a 50's advertisement for the 5x2.
