My 1/2 ton '54 panel front doors are off the truck. I am ready to install them and was wondering if it is easier to leave the rubber off the doors until they are adjusted? The body rubber is already in place. Thanks for the help.

The rubber isn't an adjustable element, and adjusting the doors without the rubber on means you'd probably have to do it again when you put the rubber on. Also, it's nearly impossible to get the rubber on neatly on the hinge side of the door with the doors on. I just finished putting thr rubber on the doors for my '48 last week, and it was difficult enough with the doors on sawhorses.
