I have a 41 1/2 ton rebuilt master and new wheel cylinders new brake lines. the brake peddle is getting harder and harder to the point that it starts to drag the breaks and activates the hydrolic brake switch. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Did you replace all the rubber lines? Could be the master is not letting the fluid to return.

I had a similar problem that was caused by the MC plunger not coming out far enough to expose a pressure relief opening. I backed my plunger out 1/6 of a turn and the problem was solved. I was amazed that only 1/6 of a turn could make that difference.

Sounds like Wally has the right idea. I did not think of that.

You don't have enough pedal free play to compensate for the heat expansion. Does the brakes go back to feeling normal when the truck has sat for a long while?
