#882's are OK heads, but use the small "peanut" plugs............open chamber type, though.
#993 or #441 is better.....
Your block is probably an "MO" or an MP" block.........not the best "302" blocks for the "z-28"............'69 "DZ" was-is the best, as it has the larger journals, better cam (30-30 Duntov) and the heads had re-developed valve springs for high RPM's........also, z-28 oil pump is heavy duty....will fit ANY SBC.

The block? Hard to say.........not many MO or MP blocks running around........ Are you buying, or selling? Just curious.

Measure the stroke on the crankshaft or if you can get the crankshaft casting number that should tell you. | | |

I think all the 327/350 blocks had a 4" bore. But was '68 or '69 the first year for chevy 350? I know '68 was last year for 327.
