Well I better ask the experts. You fella's know a heck of alot more than this guy.
Have any of you used the metallic clutch disc's rather than the ordinary organic disc's??
What about the 6 point disc rather than the full clutch disc's?
Any likes/or dis-likes there?
Also...I'm wondering what my ratio is in my diff on a 66 C20. Can I find it without pulling the cover? The number on the forward side of the diffy is 3883379 if that helps.

The axle code your looking for is on the Passenger side toward the front about half way between the diff and hub. It starts with 2 letters. Probably beginning with H. axle codes Hope this helps. | | |

I guess it depends on what you are doing with your truck. If you are using for actual work, and are pulling heavy loads, I'd go with the 'metal' clutch. Any other light-duty use I would use the organic, as they are much more forgiving when engaging the clutch. | | |
